Job Title: Senior Database Security Compliance Analyst

Compliance, Governance, Contracts Review, and working with Legal- The Senior Database Compliance Analyst, will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of DFW database environments and providing compliance guidance for other database environments where DFW data is located. This role involves a mix of hands-on technical work, policy implementation, and collaboration with various teams to ensure our databases are secure, compliant with industry standards, and aligned with DFW’s cyber risk management strategies, playing a pivotal role in protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access and breaches.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Five (5) plus years of experience in database administration, IT security compliance, and risk management.
Equivalent combinations of education and/or experience may be considered.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of Linux/Windows Operating Systems and Oracle/Microsoft SQL database servers.
Knowledge of shell script programming, SQL &, and PL/SQL.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, GDPR, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53) related to security and data privacy.
