Job Title: Junior Field Service Technician

Duration: 36+ Months Contract
Location: DFW Airport, TX 75261 Onsite 

Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior Field Service Technician to assist with computer deployments, device refresh projects, and onsite end-user support. This role is ideal for someone with basic IT support experience who is eager to develop their technical skills in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with computer refresh and device migration projects.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and Windows-related issues.
  • Provide onsite support to end users during deployments and equipment installations.
  • Image, configure, and replace computers and peripheral devices.
  • Update asset inventory and deployment tracking records.
  • Work closely with the Deskside Support team to complete assigned tasks.
  • Follow deployment schedules and project timelines.
  • Move and transport IT equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when assisting users.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of IT support, deployment, or technical experience.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with desktop and laptop setup, installation, and configuration.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with device imaging or computer deployments.
  • Previous internship, help desk, desktop support, or field service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of asset management and inventory tracking.
