Mandatory Skill set – Oracle DBA
Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only) * · Strong Oracle DBA experience (12c, 19c) including installation, configuration, and administration. · Hands-on experience with cross-platform migration techniques (RMAN CONVERT, Transportable Tablespaces, Data Pump). · Expertise in Oracle GoldenGate configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. · Solid understanding of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.

Nice to have skills (Top 2 only)

· Proficiency in Linux/Unix scripting for automation.

· Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Detailed Job Description:

· 12+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with strong expertise in cross-platform database

migration and Oracle GoldenGate replication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and

validating migrations of large-scale Oracle databases across heterogeneous platforms (AIX, RHEL) while ensuring

minimal downtime and data integrity.

Certifications Needed:

Work onsite with client stakeholders to design and implement cross-platform Oracle database migration

strategies using RMAN, Data Pump, and Transportable Tablespaces.

· Configure and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time replication and zero-downtime migration.

· Perform pre-migration assessments, compatibility checks, and develop migration runbooks.

· Optimize database performance post-migration and troubleshoot any issues.

· Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data consistency during migration.

· Collaborate with application teams to validate functionality after migration.

· Document processes, best practices, and provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
