Job Title: Senior Business Process Analyst: Sales CRM Implementation
Location: Valley Forge, PA (Hybrid schedule: M-Th (onsite), Friday (remote))
Duration: 6 months, with possible extension
About the role
Client is implementing a new CRM platform, starting with our sales organization. We’re building from a clean slate and want to keep it simple: use out-of-the-box functionality wherever we can and limit customization. You’ll help shape the processes and requirements that lay the foundation for the future. We want someone who asks the hard questions, challenges assumptions, and leads the conversation when a room needs direction.
Roles and responsibilities:
Design lean sales processes. Define the sales processes for a new CRM, such as lead management, opportunity tracking, and quoting. Design them to fit standard platform capabilities rather than bending the platform to fit legacy habits.
Drive discovery and requirements. Facilitate working sessions with business and technical teams, capture business requirements, and identify test scenarios.
Challenge and simplify. Question assumptions, push back on “we’ve always done it this way,” and test every customization request against a simple question: is this truly needed, or can standard functionality meet the need?
Shape the solution. Partner with technology architects to define what we build versus what we buy, favoring configuration over custom development.
Map the integrations. Help design how sales processes connect with SAP, digital platforms, BI/Qlik, and other systems, and identify process improvements along the way.
Work across teams. Collaborate with Project Managers, PMO Business Partners, Sales leadership and Sales Operations, consultants, customer experience SMEs, and IT specialists (architects, developers, integration and data experts).
Balance multiple priorities. Support more than one project at a time.
Required
Senior-level business process analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and test scenario definition
Proven ability to lead discussions and drive initiatives, working independently with guidance from a Program Manager or Lead
Confidence to ask questions and respectfully challenge stakeholders at every level, including saying no to unnecessary complexity
Experience in a hybrid waterfall/agile environment
Strong communication skills (verbal, in person, visual, and written), including process diagrams and requirements documentation
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Proficiency with Microsoft tools: Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams (we collaborate in Teams rather than over email), and Azure DevOps for project and backlog management
Preferred
CRM or ERP implementation experience, ideally a new (greenfield) implementation
Experience with sales processes in a CRM, such as lead-to-opportunity-to-quote
Experience with a fit-to-standard or configuration-first approach, minimizing customization
Experience with cross-system integrations (e.g., CRM and SAP)
Process improvement or waste-reduction training, such as Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt
